What do you think of the new site design? A little bit brighter, a little bit greener. Let us know what you think of the new layout, we're always open to suggestions. If we need more blog-posts on the main page, or more photos we can change that too.

It's pretty cool. Not sure how it's greener unless the new color uses less energy. Still, this is a pretty complex community to manage and I think you all are doing a great job.

Hurrah for Bioneers newly designed logo. Thanks Kit for sprucing things up.

Also, I'll just go ahead and say it right here that we're moving things around on the homepage a bit. Some changes include:

• More prominent videos
• Stronger focus on forum posts (since everyone seems to like 'em!)
• Blog posts moved to the side, decreased in focus since the most useful discussions seem to happen in the forum instead
• New space for your events! Somebody add one to get us started.

I like. Subtle changes wrapped in a bright new banner. It conveys a nice turn of the year as the 2008 Conference approaches.

One comment - with the blog posts moved to the side, the font size of the titles seems too big for the column, with only a couple of words on each line. Also, I miss being able to see the first few lines of the post as you can for the Forum topics.

Oh, also, I would love to see a new box, "What are you working on?" added to the About Me choices. There has been so much fabulous stuff people have said in the discussion by that name, and people ought to have a place where they can put that up along with what moves them and their favorite musician if they want.

Having said that though, I think that the way everyone has written about themselves and their work in that discussion is so much more alive and interesting than the way people usually describe themselves in an About Me box. So maybe add something in the Getting Started information that says as much and encourages people to talk first and fill in the box later. :)

Cool! That one seems too small, the headers are getting lost on the Forum topics. I see the size of the headers in both columns changes together, so it looks like it will have to be a balance...

This way the headings seem too small still. Is there an intermediate size you could try?
