We Need Bioneers help. Lenders and Banks will not loan on Energy Efficient Dome Housing that is Hurricane, Earthquake and Tornado Proof

American Ingenuity’s advanced dome building system is so unique its panel was granted a U.S. patent. During the past 30 years this dome has received awards for energy efficiency and design. The building kit consists of all the component panels for the dome shell. The panels are comprised of concrete, steel, seven inch thick block of E.P.S. insulation and wall board. There is no wood in or on the shell to rot or to burn.

The prefinished concrete exterior is low maintenance, does not require shingles and offers maximum resistance to termites and fire. The dome comes with a hurricane, earthquake and tornado guarantee.

By simply placing the component panels, interconnecting the steel mesh and concreting the seams, you complete the structural framework, the exterior finish, all the insulation and the interior shell wall board for your home. Assemble the shell kit yourself or hire your local contractor who utilizes the Kit Assembly Consultant. All interior items, including the doors and windows, are purchased locally and installed by your local subs.

The owners of American Ingenuity are developing a 160 acre prototype dome community about one hour north east of Asheville North Carolina in the pristine forested mountains. A great place for a retirement home or second home.

Kit sizes range from 373 sq.ft. to over 5,000 sq.ft. Basic kit prices vary from $12,050 to $65,000. Stock or Custom plans are available.

Even though we have a great product, banks and lenders view our domes negatively...because they think we have new and different technology....even though we have been in business since 1976. Old stick built houses use too much of our natural resources and are not energy efficient. Banks and lenders are comfortable with old traditional housing...because they can compare it to the same old housing that has sold.

Our clients cannot obtain financing. Plus we are wanting to expand our factory, make available energy efficient housing, employ more workers and add construction workers to build houses in the 46 states in which we are operating, but we cannot obtain financing.

I am hoping that members of the Bioneers Community will have some solutions to this financing problem so that we can expand and our homeowners can build homes to save 50% to 70% off their heating and AC costs; thus saving our planet's natural resources.

As the saying goes, it is not what you know, but who you know... Or it matters not what you can build or what one can offer to to sell, but rather who is there with cash to buy it. We presently live in a very difficult market, for start ups. Plus real estate might be in sort of a slump for a while, as money is harder for people to acquire, in order to buy homes, even while they need homes and want homes. Banks may have their own hidden problems these days, look at all the golden parachutes.

Thanks for replying.

Before the mortgage meltdown, when banks and lenders were giving clients house mortgages with zero down or very little down, they still made our dome clients put 20% to 30% down! So the reason we and our clients cannot get mortgages is not because of the current housing market slump or hard to get credit problem...it is the attitude of lenders and banks about loaning on any type of house that is outside the box of conventional stick built houses.

That is why I am contacting the Bioneers Community in hopes that one of you KNOWS SOMEONE THAT KNOWS SOMEONE who has the guts to break through this good ole boy glass ceiling of conservative banks and lenders that do not want to lend on green, new technology domes. We need someone to step up to the plate and help us and our clients. Do you know anyone like this that you can inform about our new technology housing kit?

We have a great product that can help homeowners not pay an arm and a leg to cool or heat their homes or for those whose homes have been blown away by hurricanes and tornados or shook down by earthquakes or burned down by fires. American Ingenuity has a solution for these problems if we only had lenders or banks that would work with us and our customers....NOT AGAINST US.

Just to clarify we are not a start up company. American Ingenuity was founded in 1976 and I have been a co-owner since 1983. We have 760 domes in 46 USA states and twelve foreign areas. We have facts to prove that our domes are hurricane, earthquake, tornado proof and super-energy efficient. During this entire 33 year time period, our clients have had a hard time getting financing.

I have tried to find lending alternatives, but now I realize what I have tried has not gotten our clients any solutions....so there must be other ways of solving this lending problem. That is why I am contacting organizations like Bioneers in hopes that one of your members knows someone that knows someone who can help us and our customers get dome financing.

Glenda, Just a friendly guy here. I admire good purposes and hard work to good ends... Actually, ive been working hard in this same period of time, trying similar building efforts, even in housing and domes. I even came up with a great brand name idea-- Cap-it-all construction, in the early 1980s. HehHeh. The thing is many investors have no experience of what is actually good. How can it be expected they will know? They have advisors or what not pulling them in so many directions. How can anyone expect an investor venture capitalist to find truth? We should appreciate that they do what they do. Independence is a decent preoccupation while the tide lifting all boats might not favor our great idea or great product or great boat. We might get lifted into a lovely grotto. Enjoy. If someone in Bioneers is ready for housing investments, i'd congratulate progress, here, there, anywhere. How would i know who reads these blogs. I simply wish to share truth, beauty and goodness. Currently we seem to have a US President, who is keen on fomenting more wars. Making nothing out of something. It's seems so much easier to that type of mind. Get on top of the dog pile and blow them all away.
