Aloha! I am on the Board of the Environmental Cleanup Coalition which has a project called Gyre Cleanup to create solutions and raise awareness around the enormous plastic waste dump in the North Pacific, for starters. We are looking to create free educational worksheets and curriculum around this important topic for all levels of school grades through college. Please let me know if you have any ideas or resources around this important topic. We have created a ning group for this site at gyrecleanup.ning.com. Much love and mahalo! Laura

Blue Planet Run offers an amazing FREE downloadable pdf of our award winning coffee table book that covers the global water crisis and the solutions that are available right now to solve the problem.

If you go to Amazon.com and type in Blue Planet Run, it will lead you to the book. Click to view details and you will see a text box advertising the free download.

This book was created by Rick Smolan, a renowned photojournalist, and 40 other photographers. There are essays from Robert Redford, Paul Hawken and many others.

We are also offering a special in November for the holidays (on our Blue Planet Run estore) that you can purchase the real book and get the 2nd one for half price - a smart gift for a friend, client, etc.

We need to keep increase awareness that safe, healthy water is a precious resource that over 1 billion people lack access to. Water is life. Pass it on.
