Been a bit neglectful of this group since last fall. Summer is a bad time for farmer/bloggers. Still find this approach to be the best way forward (with some guiding framework) Paul and I are starting to work on some things that should have application here. More soon.

Hi, I've just joined. I am currently living in France, so I am very lucky to be living in a country which already "gets" local living, in a lot of ways. There are always improvements to seek, of course :^). I can be somewhat slow, online. Participating is important to me, so I will make time for here.

For me it is being able to reclaim the physical economy through things like local currency and what in Australia is called the bush mechanic over there in the US maybe the Farmer Astronaut. I have been working on this as a major life project now for 8 years and have a (not very effective) web site and report (see title below). Keen to discuss - have not been able to generate any interest on B on this topic so hope this may kick something off.
