Hi, Vonda, Peter and Nurture Girl,

I hoped we could address all of the kinds of issues you three raise, from changing our relationship to money and resources, to alternative currencies, to how more 'feminine' based approaches are transforming business and commerce.

I'm also interested in how women's philanthropy is changing the face of the nonprofit world. All of it. As well as how we address the wounds left by the old money-as-power paradigm.

But given the scope of all that, it may require several discussions.

What do you all think?

Hello Peter and Nurture Girl. My interest is in exploring new ways of approaching resource exchange. I think (like Peter) that the feminine approach (as it manifests in females and males) will be very useful at this time on planet earth.

I look forward to conversing. Though, here in MN, we are 3 weeks away from producing the Northland Bioneers Conference - so I may not be active until after that date has passed (Nov 15-16). blessings, Vv

I was invited to join this group, and am happy to be here. I am >>gasp<< a man! I've started woman-owned-companies. Practically speaking, this provides help in terms of successfully writing grant applications. That's some of my experience. I believe in the new management style, which is seen as being 'feminine.' It involves consensus building and cooperation. This is opposed to the old management style, which is much more chain-of-command, militaristic and essentially 'male'. I find the newer management style to be more effective and productive.
With that, a big hello to you all!

I am very interested in this topic. I have been in conversation with Sheri Herndon and some of the folks at the transitioner.org.... Are we talking specifically about how women use money or about women nurturing a whole new currency paradigm?
