"Better science education...' Ya, ive heard that logic is absent, certainly from from elementary and undergraduate curriculums, but intentionally so! Wow! While sports deification is granted so much emphasis and so much funding, in public schools...

May we hope things are 'taken in the right context', including data. Yet black and white 'contrast' alone can be sufficient, for a scientific inquiry. True color added can reveal further contrasts. Context is not scientifically indicated until obs...

James Martin, Yes, context easily works in many ways and not always favorably for broader trends. Still, it seems curious that raw data is so hard to assemble for less contextualized debating. Raw data which can better compare apples with apples....

I like the animated cartoon . However, i dread to think how 'compartmentalized' so many debates have become. In terms of the truth about world climate health, i still believe that the 'who done it' part needs admissions and concessions on all side...

Thanks for the blog. I have for decades been very hopeful but am currently concerned about imminent upheavals as seen in many current events. As one saying implies, 'some chaos can closely precede change' (especially positive change). I do not hav...

I tend to agree with most posts here... Yet such sentiments are so easily derailed with 1984-ish 'double speak', or so it seems... I just received a call to action (or to attention) and a call very related to the sentiments here-- The only action ...

Wow, that is really innovative. As an engineer, I'd be very interested in the properties. Mushroom mycelium has cell walls like plants, but instead of being made of cellulose, they are made of chitin, the same stuff that makes up crab shells. Havi...

I'm afraid to say that it is very difficult to "compete" against clear cutting followed by "3rd world" foraging to support the meat industry... Salami, hot dogs and hamburgers cause deforestation... Even a small effort, say one less meat meal, on ...

Will you be forcibly jabbed? Is balanced info suppressed?

There appear to be some draconian plans in the works, (like forced vaccination with unproven mixtures). What will come of it? Who knows? Informing one's self might be worth while. At the very least, vaccines-saftey-and effectiveness is a highly controversial subject. We might all be forced to pay through health consequences and increased taxation, while large industries profit from it all.

Glad to see some bioneer-blogging on this extraordinarily complex subject... It takes so much time to gras… Continue

Eyelid Greenhouse

A concept and a plan for this summer --

http://www.midcoast.com/~bo/EyelidGreenhouse/SelfHeatingGreenHouse.html

Basic Objectives Are--

- primarily inspired by improved growing zone for cold climates
-also conceivable uses for the warm climate, like pollination control
-recycled material usage
- potentially, not so hard to build, but the prototype has hurdles
- minimalist eco footprint all around

Will post progress report, later in summer.
