I tend to agree with most posts here... Yet such sentiments are so easily derailed with 1984-ish 'double speak', or so it seems... I just received a call to action (or to attention) and a call very related to the sentiments here-- The only action ...

There appear to be some draconian plans in the works, (like forced vaccination with unproven mixtures). What will come of it? Who knows? Informing one's self might be worth while. At the very least, vaccines-saftey-and effectiveness is a highly co...

Wow, that is really innovative. As an engineer, I'd be very interested in the properties. Mushroom mycelium has cell walls like plants, but instead of being made of cellulose, they are made of chitin, the same stuff that makes up crab shells. Havi...

I'm afraid to say that it is very difficult to "compete" against clear cutting followed by "3rd world" foraging to support the meat industry... Salami, hot dogs and hamburgers cause deforestation... Even a small effort, say one less meat meal, on ...

Like Bucky's dome cover for central Manhattan, this has some favorable features, but really, i think money would be better spent by placing green roofs on all or many buildings-- By developing products and financial systems to allow all building o...

As the saying goes, it is not what you know, but who you know... Or it matters not what you can build or what one can offer to to sell, but rather who is there with cash to buy it. We presently live in a very difficult market, for start ups. Plus ...

Sounds possible and likely. A good reason to wonder what sort of soy and render-plant food stuffs go into feeding factory meat products sold in super markets. Vegan sounds saner each day, if one can't live in a sustainable community, if one is stu...

A little April humor to ease this political cluelessness.... Here and there, a message might get across to ease the divide, between misguided materialism and common sense. No offense was intended to the office-culture or to current touch bearers. ...

Will you be forcibly jabbed? Is balanced info suppressed?

There appear to be some draconian plans in the works, (like forced vaccination with unproven mixtures). What will come of it? Who knows? Informing one's self might be worth while. At the very least, vaccines-saftey-and effectiveness is a highly controversial subject. We might all be forced to pay through health consequences and increased taxation, while large industries profit from it all.

Glad to see some bioneer-blogging on this extraordinarily complex subject... It takes so much time to gras… Continue

Eyelid Greenhouse

A concept and a plan for this summer --

http://www.midcoast.com/~bo/EyelidGreenhouse/SelfHeatingGreenHouse.html

Basic Objectives Are--

- primarily inspired by improved growing zone for cold climates
-also conceivable uses for the warm climate, like pollination control
-recycled material usage
- potentially, not so hard to build, but the prototype has hurdles
- minimalist eco footprint all around

Will post progress report, later in summer.
