About Me:
Years ago, when introducing themselves to me, a woman asked me, "Who are you and what are you good for?" It stuck with me. More than a decade later, I'm still striving to have good answers for those questions every single day."

I like to think of myself as a wannabe naturalist, a dreamer, a romantic with one foot on the ground. When I grow up I want to be a mystic.

For a paycheck I support individuals with developmental disabilities. I channel my "A.D.D." into creative energy and brainstorming solutions for the complex problems and challenges that often face DD individuals, their families and teams. I love my job.
What are you working on?
Repairing the world...
Trying to reduce my footprint & live more sustainably with each passing year.

My goat mentors sent us home with two garbage bags stuffed full of angora goat fleece. They picked up an angora buck who is 2 and 1/2 years old and had never been shorn. We helped shear him last weekend. Everyone pretty much figured that the fleece was a lost cause and that I couldn't hurt it, even if I did everything wrong and turned it into felt. We all figured that it would be great stuff to learn on.

After 24 hours of careful soaking (and three water changes) t… Continue

That's so cool! The best clothing is recycled clothing. I wish there was a nation wide clothing swap daily...maybe there is? I'll check it out :+)
