How are we thinking about money? What innovations have occurred to you? What new ideas are you seeing out there? As our economic house of cards is tumbling, how are we reconfiguring our relationship to money, both women and men? How is restoring...

Some good questions. I suggest splitting the topic into 2 issues. The topic of money has to do with economic sustainablity which is a universal problem. The solution I see for that is Paticular Currency. Once paticular currency is introduced then ...

I like/prefer organic, and look for good quality (fine) weave of cotton, as well as great design in the cut of the tee as well as what's printed on it. I like having the occasional 'message,' like that cute ingredients box we had a few years back,...

Hey, Melissa and Natasha, this is a great discussion, thanks for starting it, Natasha! I did not know of Rangimarie, and am enthused to learn about her. I'm currently very excited about Shailja Patel, a Kenyan poet who's coming to speak at Bionee...

Wow, I had not heard of Rangimarie either, and am so thankful to learn about her. Here's an amazing woman, Shailja Patel, who we've just invited to present a piece at Bioneers, whose fiery courage, clarity and grace inspires me...feels like she sa...

Nina -

Thank you for your comment on my discussion post. I'm excited to to start connecting and sharing with people through this network and I'm hoping to start some meaningful discussions. Thanks again for your encouragement and enthusiasm! I'm also very excited about the Bioneers event next weekend - I'll be there for at least one if not two days helping the Wiser Earth computer lab!

Take care and good luck!

Hi Nina, and thanks. I've marked my calendar for next year! A mini-Bioneers in Spain sounds exciting and promising. I think there will be a lot of interest.

Hi Nina
I am from Australia and came to the Bioneers Conference last October and brought an Aboriginal Elder Aunty with me. We came to meet with the 13 Grandmothers which we did. The whole event for us both was fantastic. Thank you for organising it. I am going to Europe in a month to do some volunteer work for the 13 Grandmothers in spreading the word and fundraising. I will be going with them to Gabon for their 6th Council. Do you know any Bioneers who live in Paris? I would really appreciate having someone host me for a short time while I find my land legs as I have never been to Europe before. Thanks for your help. Cheers Janet Hay

V to the 10th-Celebrating - and Mourning - the Women (and men) of New Orleans

I was privileged to get to travel to New Orleans for V to the 10th, Eve Ensler and Vday's celebration for New Orleans.

Entering the Superdome was in itself a remarkable feeling, as the place is huge, cavernous and dank, and the sense of all the horror, pain, violence and abandonment that occurred there in the days following Katrina is palpable.

But Vday transformed it. We entered through an art installation that felt like entering a b… Continue
