About Me:
A mom concerned about "green" lawns and their effects on my kids. Why am I so concerned? I am a breast cancer survivor who was effected by the chemicals my dad used in his greenhouse business (hence the name snapdragons daughter). In those days, we believed these chemicals were safe enough to eat once dry. Today, we are using new generation pyrethroids and assuming they are safe to use around our kids. I want to spare my kids, and yours, the pain I have felt because we simply didn't know. We need to demand answers. We need to educate ourselves. Here is where we can make it happen.

Capitol Climate Action - March 2.

Their objective is to draw attention to how dirty and outdated the power plant is. In the last 10 years, it cost $9.4 million to restore just the Washington Monument from the corrosive properties of soot from the power plant and auto exhaust. You can help send this message by giving your congress person a call!

SO, in the best interest of our nation, I have come up with a plan. Educate parents of day care and elementary school kids about the pesticides they are using to keep their lawns green. The umbrella of pesticides include insecticides, herbicides - kills weeds, and fungicides)

Here is a short… Continue
